NOTE:
The turning chain at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Row 1 (RS): Chain 19. SC in second chain from hook. SC in next 17 chains. (18)

Row 2: Chain 1. Turn. *Skip 2 stitches. BPTRC in next 2 stitches. Cross in front of work and DC in 2 skipped stitches. Repeat from * until 2 stitches remain. DC in last 2 stitches. (18)

Row 3: Chain 1. Turn. *Skip 2 stitches. FPTRC in next 2 stitches. Cross behind work and DC in 2 skipped stitches. Repeat from * until 2 stitches remain. DC in last 2 stitches. (18)

Repeat Row 2 and Row 3 until work measures approximately 19 inches in length.

Seaming: With right sides facing, hold the ends of the work together and slip stitch through both loops of the last row and the corresponding stitches of the foundation chain.

Fasten off. Weave in ends.
