JOINING WITH SC

When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

Special Stitches

Beginning Cluster (beg-cl): Ch 3, keeping last lp of each dc on hook, 2 dc in same st or sp indicated, yo, pull through all 3 lps on hook.

Double Crochet Cluster (dc-cl): Keeping last lp of each dc on hook, 3 dc in st or sp indicated, yo, pull through all 4 lps on hook.

Split Cluster (split-cl): [Ch 3, yo, insert hook in first ch, pull up lp, yo, pull through 2 lps on hook] twice, yo, pull through rem 3 lps on hook.

Petal: (sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc) in st or sp indicated.
