SPECIAL NOTES1) Use double strand of yarn held together throughout.

HAT PATTERNRnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, holding 2 strands of Pink yarn together, ch 4, sl st in first ch to form ring; ch 1 (loosely), 12 dc in ring; join with sl st to first dc. Join all dc rounds in this manner. (12 dc)

Rnd 2: Ch 1 (loosely), 2 dc in each dc around; join as before. (24 dc)

Rnd 3: Ch 1 (loosely), 2 dc in first dc, dc in next dc, [2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc] around; join as before. (36 dc)

Rnds 4-9: Ch 1 (loosely), dc in each dc around; join as before. (36 dc)

Rnd 10: Ch 1, sl st in each dc around; join with sl st to first sl st. Finish off and weave in ends.

Rnd 11: With wrong side facing, join double strand White with sl st to any st, ch 1 (loosely), 2 dc in same st, dc in next 11 sts, [2 dc in next st, dc in next 11 sts] twice; join with sl st to first dc. (39 dc)

Rnds 12-13: Ch 1 (loosely), dc in each dc around; join as before. (39 dc)

Rnd 14: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, [sc in next dc] around; join with sl st to first sc. Finish off and weave in ends.
