Boot Cuffs Crochet Pattern:

Foundation: ch11

Row 1: sc in the 2nd st from hook, sc across, turn

Row 2: ch1, sc in first st, blsc across until last st, sc in last st, turn

Row 3-38: repeat row 2, join both ends and sl st them together, turn to the side

Round 1: ch1, sc in each sc along the top, sl st to start

Round 2: ch1, (sc, ch1, sk 1 st) around, sl st to start picking up 2nd color (blue)

Round 3: ch1, *dc in the sc from round 2 (the one below the ch1 sp), sc in the next sp, rep from * around, sl st to start picking up the 1st color (black)

Round 4: ch1, *sc in next st (top of dc), dc in the same st as the sc from prev round (so 1 round below), rep from * around, sl st to start picking up 2nd color (blue)

So, you are alternating between sc and dc, but instead of crocheting a dc in the top of the prev. sc, you are going 1 round below and crocheting into the same sp as the prev sc.

Round 5-12: rep round 4, sl st to start but keeping the black color yarn

Round 13: ch2, dc around, sl st to start, fasten off and weave in all ends
