Materials
Dk / weight 3 yarn I used Paintbox Simply DK in Slate Green for the background colour (276 metres per 100g) and various different colours for the animals.
4ply yarn in black and white for the eyes on the 4, 5 and 6.5”
3 and 4 mm crochet hooks

Eyes
If making small, medium and large use a 3mm hook and black 4 ply yarn.
If making extra large use dk black yarn and 4mm hook
Round 1: In a magic circle, ch1, 6 sc, slst to the first and pull tight. (6)
Fasten off with a long end for sewing, sew one white line for small, medium and large and two white lines for extra large.

Using white
Row 1: Ch6, slst in second chain from hook, slst 4. (5) Turn
Row 2: *ch3, slst in the second chain from hook, slst 1 chain, slst into the next stitch along* x 5. Fasten off with a long end for sewing.
Join white in the centre of the other side of the starting chain, ch11. Fasten off with a long end for sewing.
EARS
Make two using black
Make a magic circle, ch2, 8 hdc into the circle, slst to first and pull tight. (8) Fasten off with a long end for sewing.
NOSE
Using pink 4ply yarn
Make a magic circle, ch1, 6 sc into the circle, slst to first and pull tight. (6) Fasten off with a long end for sewing.
Large 6.5” square
STRIPE
Using white
Row 1: Ch8, slst in second chain from hook, slst 6. (7) Turn
Row 2: *ch3, slst in the second chain from hook, slst 1 chain, slst into the next stitch along* x 7. Fasten off with a long end for sewing.
Join white in the centre of the other side of the starting chain, ch13. Fasten off with a long end for sewing.
EARS
Make two using black
Make a magic circle, ch2, 10 dc into the circle, slst to first and pull tight. (10) Fasten off with a long end for sewing.
NOSE
Using pink yarn
Make a magic circle, ch1, 8 sc into the circle, slst to first and pull tight. (8)
Fasten off with a long end for sewing.
