Crafted from high-quality fabrics, the envelope pillow cover is designed to provide a snug fit for your existing pillows, instantly giving them a fresh new look. Whether you prefer a cozy and warm atmosphere or a vibrant and lively ambiance, the envelope pillow cover offers endless possibilities to express your personal style. Available in a wide range of colors, patterns, and materials, you can find the perfect cover to complement your existing furniture and create a cohesive look in your living space. So why settle for ordinary pillows when you can elevate your home decor with the simple addition of an envelope pillow cover?
You’ll need:
- fabric
- pillow insert
- thread
- sewing machine
Measure your pillow. Cut a rectangle out of fabric, as wide as the pillow + seam allowances and as long as 2.5 x the pillow + seam allowances. E.g. if the pillow measures 10 x 10 inches, cut out a 11 x 26 inch rectangle.
Finish the short edges of the rectangle. Fold the fabric, as in the picture, so that there’s a slight overlap in the middle. Then sew both sides of the envelope pillow case and finish the raw edges with a zig zag stitch. Turn the pillow case inside out and your pillow cover is finshed!
