Materials: Small amounts of green and white worsted weight yarn, size H crochet hook

Rnd 1: With green, ch 2, 8 sc in second ch from hook, join with a sl st t.
Rnd 2: Working in front loops for this round only, Ch 1, sc in same st, * ch 4,sc in each of next 2 st; rep from * twice more, sc in next st, join with a sl st in beg. ch 1. (4 ch-4 loops).
Rnd 3: Ch 1, In each ch-4 loop work (sc, hdc, dc, 3trc, dc, hdc, sc). For stem, ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each of next 3 ch (4 sc). Join with a sl st in beg. ch-1. Finish off green.
Rnd 4: Working in unused back loops from round 1, join white with a sl st in first sc, ch 3, dc in same st as joining, 2 dc in next sc and each remaining sc around, join with a sl st in top of beg. ch 3. (16 dc). Drop white (Do Not fasten off.)
Rnd 5: Join green with a sl st in beg. ch 3 from rnd 4, ch 1, sc in same sp as joining. ch 3, * sk next dc, sc in next dc, ch 3; rep from * around, join with a sl st in beg. ch 1. (8 ch-3 loops). Drop green.
Rnd 6: Pick up white, sl st into first ch-3 sp, ch 3, 3 dc in same sp, 4 dc in next ch-3 sp and in each remaining ch-3 sp around, join with a sl st in beg. ch 3. (32 dc). Drop white.
Rnd 7: Pick up green. .Ch 1, sc in top of beg. ch 3 from Rnd 6. sc in same st., ch 3, * sk next dc, sc in next dc, ch 3; rep from * around, join with a sl st in beg. ch-1. (16 ch-3 loops). Drop green.
Rnd 8: Pick up white. Rep. Rnd 6. (64 dc) Drop white.
Rnd 9: Pick up green. Rep. Rnd 7 (32 ch-3 lops) Finish off green.
Rnd 10: Pick up white. Sl st into first ch-3 loop, ch 4, in same loop work (trc, ch 2, 2 trc), * 2 dc in next ch-3 loop, 2 hdc in next ch-3 loop, 2 sc in each of next 3 ch-3 loops, 2 hdc in next ch-3 loop, 2 dc in next ch-3 loop, in next ch-3 loop work (2 trc, ch 2, 2 trc) (corner sp made); rep from * around, omitting last corner sp of last rep. Join with a sl st in top of beg. ch 4.
Rnd 11: Sl st into ch-2 corner sp, Ch 3, in same sp work (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc). dc in each st across to next corner sp, in corner sp work (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) (new corner sp made); rep from * 3 times more, omitting last new corner sp from last rep. Join with a sl st in top of beg. ch-3. Finish off white.
Rnd 12: Rnd 10: Join green with a sl st, ch 1, work sc in same st as joining and in each st around, working 3 sc in each new corner sp. Join with a sl st in beg. ch 1. Finish off and weave in all ends.
