Super Easy Advent Candle
Advent candles are a cherished tradition during the holiday season, bringing warmth and light to homes and hearts alike. Lighting each candle on the Advent wreath symbolizes a week leading up to Christmas, marking the anticipation and preparation for the birth of Jesus. The gentle glow of the candles creates a cozy and peaceful atmosphere, reminding us to pause, reflect, and appreciate the blessings in our lives. As the flickering flames dance, they serve as a beacon of hope and joy, guiding us through the darkness of winter with a sense of unity and togetherness. So, whether you light your Advent candle alone or with loved ones, it's a simple yet profound ritual that brings a touch of magic and tradition to the holiday season.
Materials:
- Candlestick(s)
- Paint pen
- Ruler (I used centimeters to fit the size of my candle. A 9 1/2″ candle perfectly fits 24 centimeters and therefore 24 days).
Instructions:
- Measure out your 24 days on the candlestick
- Mark with paint pen, labeling one side with the days and the other side with dashes or dots
- Now you have your advent candle! Watch it melt down the days until Christmas!
