Wood Bead Cherries

Supplies:
- (2) 25mm wood beads (or any size desired)
- red dye (Rit or Basketree)
- 15” jute twine
- 6” x 1” piece of green fabric
Dye the beads according to the product instructions. Allow to dry thoroughly.
Knot one end of the twine. Slide the beads onto the other end of the twine. Knot the other end. (The knots must be bigger then the holes in the beads.)
Slide one bead to each knotted end of the twine. Fold the twine in half. Take the center of the twine and wrap around the folded twine. Pull the center of the twine through the opening created and tighten to form a loop. (I don’t know what to call this knot but if you are a scout or something let me know!)
Tie the green fabric onto the twine just below the knot. Pull tightly. Trim the ends to a point.
