Mason Jar Ring Sunflowers

Materials:

  1. Mason jar rings
  2. Yellow craft paint or spray paint
  3. String or ribbon
  4. Scissors
  5. Glue
  6. Brown craft felt

Directions

  1. Paint your mason jar lids desired color – we did yellow for a sunflower
  2. Thread appx. 14-16 mason jar lids on a string or ribbon (all facing the same way)
  3. Tie the string or ribbon tight and trim off any excess string or ribbon
  4. Arrange your lids so they sit evenly in a circle
  5. Cut out a strip of brown craft felt
  6. Fold in half and glue along the edge to make a tube
  7. Cut along the folded side of felt several slits (do not cut all the way through)
  8. see images for example
  9. Slowly roll and glue your felt strip along the not cut side (see images)
  10. Glue your flower center to the middle of your mason jar rings
  11. Enjoy
