Crochet Hook: Size H-8 (5.00 mm)

JOINING WITH SC

When instructed to join with sc, begin with sl knot on hook, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up a loop, yo and draw through both loops on hook.

Special Stitches

Double Treble (dtr): Yo hook 3 times, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo, pull up lp, [yo, draw through 2 loops on hook] 4 times.

Beginning Cluster (beg-cl): Ch 3, * yo hook twice, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up lp, [yo, draw through 2 lp on hook] twice; rep from * once more, yo and draw through all 3 loops on hook.

Cluster (cl): * Yo hook twice, insert hook in st or sp indicated, yo and pull up lp, [yo, draw through 2 lp on hook] twice; rep from * twice more, yo and draw through all 4 loops on hook.

DISHCLOTH

Rnd 1: (Right Side) Starting at center, with Yellow, ch 8, join with sl st in first ch to form ring; ch 1, 18 sc in ring; join with sl st to first sc. (18 sc)

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, ch 5, skip next 2 sc, [sc in next sc, ch 5, skip next 2 sc] around; join. (6 ch-5 lps) Finish off and weave in ends.

Rnd 3: With right side facing, join Pink with sl st to any ch-5 lp, ch 5 (counts as first dtr), 7 dtr in same lp, [8 dtr in next lp] around; join with sl st to first dtr. (48 dtr)

Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, sc in next 7 dtr, ch 3, [sc in next 8 dtr, ch 3] around; join. (6 ch-3 sps) Finish off and weave in ends.

Rnd 5: With right side facing, join White with sl st to any ch-3 sp, (beg-cl, ch 3, cl) in same sp, ch 3, skip next 2 sc, [cl in next sc, ch 3 skip next 2 sc] twice, * (cl, ch 5, cl) in next ch-3 sp, ch 3, skip next 2 sc, [cl in next ch-3 sp, ch 3, skip next 2 sc] twice; rep from * around; join with sl st to top of beg-cl. (6 ch-5 lps and 18 ch-3 sps)

Rnd 6: Sl st in first lp, ch 1, (3 sc, ch 3, 3 sc) in same lp, [3 sc in next ch-3 sp] across to next lp, * (3 sc, ch 3, 3 sc) in next lp, [3 sc in next ch-3 sp] across to next lp; rep from * around; join. (90 sc)

Rnd 7: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, sc in next 2 sc, 3 sc in next ch-3 sp, * [sc in next sc] across to next ch-3 sp, 3 sc in next ch-3 sp; rep from * around, ending with [sc in next sc] across; join. (108 sc) Finish off and weave in ends.
