Crochet Hook: Size K/10.5 (6.5 mm)
Notions: Yarn Needle
Gauge: 5.5 reps and 11 rows = 4” in pattern
Difficulty: Beginner: Uses easy stitches with no shaping.
Abbreviations:
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
yo – yarn over
Notes:
Blanket can be adjusted by adding, or subtracting, in multiples of 2.
When adjusting the size be sure to consider yarn requirements.

Ch 46 (92).
Row 1: (Sc, dc) in 2nd ch from hook, *sk next ch, (sc, dc) in next ch, rep from * across to last 2 chs, sk next ch, sc in last ch, turn. (45, 91) sts
Row 2: Ch 1, (sc, dc) in 1st sc, *sk next dc, (sc, dc) in next sc, rep from * across to last st, sc in last sc, turn.
Rows 3 – 48 (96): Repeat Row 2.
BORDER
Round 1: 3 sc in corner, *sc in each row-end across side of blanket, 3 sc in corner st**, sc in each ch across bottom, 3 sc in corner st, rep from * to **, sc in each st across top, sl st in 1st sc to join.
Round 2: (Sc, ch 2, sc) in first st, sk next st, *(sc, ch 2, sc) in next st, sk next st; repeat from * around, sl st in 1st sc to join. Fasten off.
