DIY Decorated Candles as Mother's Day Gift

Surprise your mom this Mother's Day with a heartfelt and personalized gift that she will cherish forever - DIY Decorated Candles! Instead of buying a generic present, why not create something unique and special that reflects your love and creativity? With just a few simple materials and a touch of imagination, you can transform plain candles into beautiful works of art that will light up your mom's day. This project is easy and fun to make and can be completed in no time. This project is a great addition to your handmade project.

What you need for the flower candles:

  • fresh flowers
  • thin paper
  • a thick book (to press the flowers)
  • baking paper
  • an iron
  • white candles

Take the flowers and separate them on paper.

Put them in the book and press them – at least over night.

Now comes the tricky part: place them on the candle in a pattern that you’re satisfied with. Once that’s done place the baking paper on top and iron it on the low heat. Until it sticks perfectly. Make sure that the iron is not to hot or the wax will cover the flowers and muten the colors.

Peel the baking paper off and it’s all done!
