Making the Wreath
The first step to make this patriotic wreath is making the stars. You need 5 popsicle sticks for each star.
Paint 15 sticks in each color (red, white, and blue) and let them dry. That’s enough sticks for 3 stars in each color.
Using glue attach the 5 sticks together in a star shape by overlapping the ends with glue and making it into a star.
Once you have 9 stars have fun arranging them to form a wreath. I recommend laying out the wreath and making sure the stars overlap and it looks they way you wan it to before you start gluing the stars to each other.
Use the glue to attach the stars to each other to form a somewhat circular wreath shape.
Optional: Make a loop of twine at the top of the wreath to easily hang the wreath from.
This popsicle stick star wreath is a fun and simple way to decorate your front door or any door in your house. We have ours hanging on our pantry.
