Wooden Spoon Craft: Rudolph Spoon Puppet Directions:

● Cover your work surface in case of spills. You can use a disposable tablecloth, cardboard, newspaper, etc. If your children are doing this craft, you really want that work surface covered!

● Use brown craft paint to paint all sides of a wooden cooking spoon.

Once the paint has dried, attach two googly eyes to the front of the face towards the top.

Use a glue gun to attach a small red craft pom pom just below the eyes on the front of your spoon.

With a black marker, make a small circle shape for the reindeer’s mouth just below the red pom pom nose.

Cut one longer section and two shorter sections from a black pipe cleaner. Repeat the process with the other black pipe cleaner.

Shape the longer sections of pipe cleaner into an antler shape, and attach the smaller sections of pipe cleaner to each of them to form antler-like projections from the main piece. These will be Rudolph’s antlers.

Attach the antlers to the back of the wooden spoon with hot glue, place one antler on each side of the reindeer’s head.

Tie a piece of holiday colored ribbon around the bottom of the top portion of the spoon like it was being placed around Rudolph’s neck. This will serve as his scarf.
