Estimated Yardage = 20 yards
24/7 Cotton – Worsted weight, #4 lightweight (100% Cotton, 186 yd/170 m per 3.5 oz/100g skein)
Estimated Yardage = 20 yards
Crochet Hook = 5 mm
Gauge – Not crucial to this project.

Special stitch
Crossed half double crochet: skip the next st, hdc in the next st. Crochet in front of the hdc just made, working the hdc into the skipped stitch.

With Scrub yarn, chain 22
Row 1: Hdc in 3rd ch and in each ch across, turn. 20 hdc
Rows 2 – 15: Ch 1, hdc in each st across, turn. 20 hdc
Edging
Crocheting around the whole piece
Round 1: Ch 1, sc in each st around, (sc, ch 1, sc) at each corner, join with a sl st to the beginning ch.
Fasten off and set aside.
Back panel
With Cotton yarn, chain 22
Row 1: Hdc in 3rd ch and each ch across, turn. 20 hdc
